Re: [Solved] Error discovered in sub-document content.xml
Just for the tape, equally some day someone may offset to investigate the cause of the error.
The error was the usual multiple comment error near start of the file. I also annotation that information technology originated on OO on a Mac - my memory (not checked) is that there are a disproportionate number of Macs producing such errors. No trace of it having been Saved in MS Word format, just Comments had been added past others, whether using OO or MS Give-and-take I cannot say.

An uploaded certificate, or a pointer to a URL of that document on a file sharing service, would permit u.s. assess and gear up the error, if that is possible.

Re: [Solved] Error discovered in sub-document content.xml
Same problem! This is an .odt file that has gone dorsum and forth with a colleague who uses the dreaded MS Discussion. I saved it after making my own revisions, sent the file to him, and now neither of u.s.a. can open up it. I'm getting this error:
"Format error discovered in the file in sub-certificate content.xml at 2,3167(row,col)."
I'1000 likewise much of a newbie to set it using any of the guides I meet out there, so if anyone has any way to assist, I'll be very grateful.

Nosotros now believe this is a bug in AOO but not in LO. It can always exist made to happen by deleting ii (or more?) comments each attached to a range of text though other things may also crusade it. It probably is nothing to do with Word. Run into Consequence 128356 - Track Changes and Annotations on text range can crusade abuse. Applies to 4.x (all versions?)

Try this one.
There is a bug in AOO which will decadent the file if you delete 2 comments attached to a range of text.
Every bit yous and your collaborator use Tape Changes and Comments I strongly recommend you swap to LibreOffice where the bug seems to have been fixed .
